Dance Days

Dance Days are designed to give students a taste of our professional training course and guidance on how to access full-time vocational training with Central School of Ballet. The one day events are held annually in locations around the UK for young dancers aged 11-16 years who are hoping to pursue full-time vocational training in a Higher Education setting.

Dance Days will be announced when applications open on 1 October 2024.

What are Dance Days?

Dance Days include classes in Ballet and Contemporary led by Central School of Ballet’s undergraduate tutors, designed to emulate Central’s audition process. The Ballet class includes pointe work or coaching and is accompanied by a live pianist.

Dance Days take place alongside some of Central’s undergraduate in-person auditions that happen across the UK. They are therefore a fantastic way to prepare for your undergraduate audition, learn more about the audition process and also meet some of Central tutors.

To book your place on a Dance Day, return to this page when auditions open.
